We have a house built in 1880. With twin front porches that needed redone completely. We panicked at the idea of searching for someone to take on this project because of its old age and trying to restore it and make it look appropriate with the rest of the house. Scott did a wonderful job to deliver. Two beautiful porches that we can finally enjoy!! We were impressed that Scott took the time to explain the different materials he was going to use and why, and also that he walked us through his progress. Very respectful of our vision and very clean with the tools and materials throughout the course of the project. The support beans, flooring and even the old porch bolsters were carefully handled to make sure he got the best results for cosmetic satisfaction and structural stability. The porches turned out so beautiful!!

Project 1:

Replaced damaged limestone with brick.

Project 2:

Salon refresh. Repairs, patches, and new colors.

Project 3:

Replaced a sliding door with a regular door and side light. Ran into an issue with the original builder not filling in the bricks. Bugs were loving it in there. Preserved and replaced siding and woodwork to finish framing. Door painted to the owners preference.

Project 4:

Simple front of the house transformation and repair wood rot. Client wanted to update their front porch and fix the wooden columns. I removed the railing that was limiting the use of their porch and wrapped their columns with composite decking. No more painting there! After 20 years of living there the husband drove by his own house.

Project 5:

Wood rot repair. The builders neglected use a felt paper under and the results were lots of rotten trim, panels, and planks. Hardie Stucco boards, cedar trim and bevel cedar siding were used to replace the rotted areas. The owner's are taking on the painting for themselves to finish up.
